
Heidi is a Professional Counselor specializing in children, adolescents and adults in individual and group settings. Heidi has a private practice in Royal Oak, Michigan.
With over 15 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults, Heidi is dedicated to working with each individual and recognizes that we all have strengths that we can draw upon. Among her areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, mood disorders, domestic violence, effective parenting, grief and loss, self esteem issues and Chronic Illness and Cancer.
Heidi is a Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide encouragement and support to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Heidi has experience presenting in-service trainings in the community and workshops to children and adolescents in the school setting. She has conducted presentations on Bullying, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Grief and Loss, Talking to Children about Cancer and Parenting .
